Just thought I would drop you a mail and say thank you for being brilliant at my 40th birthday.  You were fantastic and more than we could ever have expected, friends are still talking about my birthday and you now.  Even though my 40th was a house party you made it so much more than that, it wasn’t just a group of friends getting together but an event – thank you.  I would not hesitate to book you again in the future.
