During the lecture Nikolas will demonstrate and explain a number of original effects.
This is Nikolas Mavresis, mentalist from Cyprus and creator of tricks such as "CineMental", "Stroop Test", "The Collector", "Poison" and others. I am very excited to announce that I will be visiting the UK for a mini-lecture tour that is been organised by Wayne Goodman. I have just returned from Poland where I was the co-headliner with Marc Paul for their first MENTAL convention. In case you’ve seen my Blackpool lecture last year, this is a BRAND NEW 2-hour lecture that mostly includes unpublished material of mine. Some of the routines that I will be teaching include:
1. IMPOSSIBLE
3 spectators select 3 random cards (no force) and while your back is turned you are able to tell them the exact card they are thinking of. There’s also a kicker ending that will leave you speechless.
2. BANK HEIST
This is my version of this classic plot. 5 envelopes – 4 spectators. They choose any envelope and leave one for me (all free choices). They remove the contents of their envelopes to find a blank piece of paper. It’s a pity that they left me with the only envelope that contains the money.
3. FEELING LUCKY
Most people use playing cards to play games, gamblers use them to try to win money and magicians to do tricks... this fantastic routine combines all three in a way that will surprise, amuse, and completely amaze you! It's such a fun premise that grabs their attention right away and never lets go until the humorous final revelation.
4. KNOWING ME
This is my Q & A routine that can also be done Close-up. This version is unique as it is disguised as a well-known travel card game.
5. ACTIVITYA fun card game turns into an amazing prediction where the spectators do everything.
6. MEMORIES “Memories” features possibly the most simple and powerful methodology for Drawing Duplication or creative revelation to date.
7. FORTUNA
FORTUNA is the pinnacle solution to the classic Mental Choice effect where everything is self-contained and most importantly EVERY SINGLE delivers a huge impact.
8. SPELLEBRITY
Two spectators freely choose a card each. When one of the cards is spelled out, both cards are instantly found. You genuinely do not know either spectator’s cards, and yet you are able to control the outcome every time. You can then repeat the effect immediately with two completely different cards – it’s as automatic, as it is impossible.
